What a huge milestone for any child - the transition from the cot to the big bed! When done at the right time for your child this can be a stage that you all sail through. However, done too early and it can turn good sleep bad!

And finally to note - if your child is experiencing long term sleep problems it is unlikely that transitioning them to a big bed will solve them. It is more likely that it will make them worse!
