David Beckham Shares Shocking Epiphany After 27 Years of Marriage to Victoria

As David and Victoria Beckham swiftly approach their silver wedding anniversary in July, the former football star reflects on their journey together. In a candid revelation, David shared how the couple often wonders how they've managed to stay together for 27 years despite numerous challenges.

In a recent documentary series about his life, the 49-year-old opened up about the "emotional" realisation they had while watching it. David said, “That’s one of the things we both, me and Victoria, probably both get emotional about. After watching the documentary and everything was over, we looked at each other and thought, ‘I don’t know how we got through the last 27 years, but we did, and we have an amazing family, amazing business, and we’re happy.’”

He continued, “When you’re with someone for that amount of time, of course, you have your ups and downs. Everybody knows that. At the end of the day, we were lucky because we had each other at those moments.”

David reminisced about their earlier years, noting, “She was a Spice Girl, I was playing for Manchester United, and even during the difficult times, we had each other to lean on, and that was the best part.”

He concluded, “We were 21 and 22 when we met. We got married at 23 and 24, and had our first son, Brooklyn, when I was 23. That added another layer of responsibility to our family.”
