There are many aspects to the Medicine Hat JazzFest, now in its 19th year, from concerts on the sidewalk downtown to the top of a parkade to the beautiful Esplanade Theatre to intimate clubs. With this video, we launch a series that will look at some of these aspects of JazzFest that make it worth the trip, no matter if you live across town, or across province. And we begin with one of our favourites; Intimacy. JazzFest puts you feet away from the performers in venues within walking distance of each other, with plenty of close parking and a city full of friendly people.
