Step into the shoes of a utility worker as you ascend up a telephone pole in a bucket truck, learn about PPE safety, and experience a realistic shock thanks to a haptic feedback vest at the end!

This project was created to show the advancements in VR technology, and how it can be merged and improved with other technologies such as photogrammetry for scanning real life models into 3D space, AI voice recording technologies for quickly iterating on sound bytes, haptic feedback vests and technologies to produce real life effects based on your actions in the game, and video in game engines for delivering real life training videos to compliment the VR immersive actions that the user is performing.

This demo was created and tested on the Oculus Quest 3.

This prototype was created in only 2 weeks by a solo developer, Noah Schultz, for the Southern Company Innovation Team.
