HONDA TRANSALP TESTED IN THE AUSSIE OUTBACK

Is Honda's new Transalp XL750 ready to run far from home?

There is no better testing ground than the Aussie outback so we headed off on a multi-state, 6-day ride over thousands of kilometres to find some answers and give the bike its biggest test yet in Australia.

Starting from Boulia in Queensland, we made our way to Birdsville and then into South Australia to Innamincka. From there we came back to Queensland with a night in Charlotte Plains and then down into New South Wales before heading back up to the Gold Coast, covering about 3300 kilometres in total.

The ride was organised by former 500 GP legend, Daryl Beattie, and headed by Mick Doohan's former mechanic, Peter 'Budda' Lukowski.
With assistance from Truckie Scott, we were able to ride deep into the red sands in the Aussie outback and visit some well-out-of-the-way places, camping under the stars by night and riding every minute of each day.

Massive thanks to Honda Australia for trusting us with three shiny new Transalps.
To Daz for all the effort making it happen and Budda for leading the way every day.
To Whites Powersports for being the most motivated guys we work with.

The gear that got us there:
Giant Loop Fandango tank bag
Leatt Moto 9.5 Carbon helmet
Leatt Moto 4.5 Enduro jersey
Leatt Moto 4.5 Enduro pants
Leatt Hydradri jacket
Leatt Race Vest
