Not just for the aficionados ...... For the 2nd tune and so on, another listener should step in for just one. To really enjoy this constellation of stars, a large high end screen and good speakers are a must. Believe it or not, focusing on the flow of music for 3 full hours, at all times trying to steady the camera for a smooth picture, is quite exhausting. A couple of beers helped this time. Apart from being there in person, this capture might be the next best thing.
A couple of days before The 52nd Bix Beiderbecke Memorial Jazz Festival in Davenport, Iowa, The Chicago Cellar Boys with Andy Schumm, Paul Asaro, John Otto, Natalie Scharf, Jimmy Barrett and Dan Anderson gathered at The Green Mill for a full night session. Capturing the show with a hand held SONY HandyCam FDR-AX100 in high quality mode, 3 years have passed since we last visited The Green Mill. Andy and His Gang never lets us down.
