In this lesson you'll learn how to hear the beat in music. Always start with pop and dance music first because it's simpler. Later we'll get into salsa music, which is more complex.

Summary:
🔶 Turn on any pop or dance song
🔶 Listen for the percussion and try and tap to the beat
🔶 Count OUT LOUD!
🔶 MOVE, don't sit still!
🔶 Practice EVERY DAY - when you wake up, on your commute, as you cook, before you sleep!
🔶 Expose yourself to more and more music to train your ear
