Here's Why The GEELY Emgrand Premium Doesn't Need a Turbo! [Car Review]

The 2022 Geely Emgrand Premium has just been launched in the Philippines and in this Filipino Car review, we get to drive it around the city to see how it performs. The 2022 Geely Emgrnad is the 1st all-motor model to be offered by Geely Philippines, and initially, I thought that it was a wrong move. However, after spending some time driving the Geely Emgrand, I can see why Geely did not give a turbo to the Emgrand Premium. Even without the turbo, the 2022 Geely Emgrand Premium still drives well and does not feel udnerpowered. Even in Eco mode, the 2022 Geely Emgrand Premium is still usable. In Sport mode, it has a bit of CVT delay, but not as pronounced as its competitors. The NVH levels of the 2022 Geely Emgrand is also a big ace, since it feels so comfortable inside. The seats are on the firm side though, but if they are like the Geely Coolray seats, then these seats should soften up as time goes by. The only drawback here is teh geely Emgrand Premium does not have the 360 degree camera of the Geely Okavango, the Geely Coolray, and the Geely Azkarra. The reverse camera of the Geely Emgrand premium is quite usable though, but it would have been better if it had the 360 degree camera.
