Presented are a few tips for operation of a VFO with your Johnson transmitter. Before hooking up a VFO make sure your wiring is correct. Over the last 50 or so years, there is good possibility that a component has been modified or damaged due to incorrect application. Never assume, take the time to verify and save yourself some misery. Many of these radios have came across my bench. These issues appear to be common.
