Hey guys! A lot of you have requested a tutorial on how I make the backgrounds in which I present a lot of my logo and type work, so here it is! To be honest with you, it isnt very difficult to do, it's just a matter of layering different filters. Im not sure how other people do this, but this is a method that, over time, I figured out myself and came to like it quite a lot, and it seems a good portion of you do too! I hope this tutorial clears it up for you guys and helps you out. Let me know what other tutorials you want to see and I will consider it if it's something I think is a good idea! Download these grungy overlays to give it just a little more of a gritty/vintage feel, I forgot to do this in the video, but it's easy, just simply drag the eps files onto the document and you will have them!
