The Matrix: Dream vs. Reality - Metaphysical Film School

In the 1999 movie, the Matrix, much of it centers around some of the following questions:
Is life real or a dream? Why are some dreams so real? What is the Matrix?

Although this movie is almost 25 years old, it still hold up. At that time, the internet was mostly still accessed through a dial up modem over the phone lines. Cell phones had yet to become mainstream, and Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality were nowhere near as powerful as they have become.

In this movie analysis, I also look at the other characters a psychological Archetypes - that the supporting cast is representative of the different aspects of Neo's total personality.
