Learn English with Stranger Things.
In this lesson, we use a real clip from the latest season to explore natural English vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar. Exactly how native speakers actually talk.

We go line by line through everything Robin says and break it down in a practical, usable way. You’ll learn everyday expressions like “a chance of”, “aside”, “you heard that right”, “brutally honest”, “not one bit”, and “steer clear of”, and see how to use them naturally in your own English.

We also focus heavily on real pronunciation, including:
• Connected speech and blending (like nice to meet you → /miʧə/)
• Weak forms and dropped sounds (elision)
• American vs British pronunciation
• How intonation changes meaning (sarcasm, implication, serious warnings)

On the grammar side, we look at:
• The present perfect in real spoken English
• Passive voice and why native speakers use it
• Imperatives for instructions and warnings
• Question intonation (when your voice goes up and when it doesn’t)

This lesson helps you understand why English sounds so fast, and how native speakers make their speech more efficient by dropping sounds, changing stress, and blending words together.
