Indian cricket team's ODI captain Rohit Sharma revealed a hilarious incident from the 2013 Champions League, where he led Mumbai Indians (MI) to victory for the second time in the competition. Rohit revealed that once he forgot what the team had decided to do after winning the toss.
Rohit revealed that the team were supposed to field first, but he announced after the coin fell in his favour that MI would bat first. The Indian cricket legend further revealed that he was questioned by Anil Kumble, who was the franchise's mentor at the time.
This is an incident from the 2013 Champions League. We won the toss. We had decided to field first, but I won the toss and batted first. Anil bhai asked 'What did you do Rohit? ' I told him, 'Anil bhai, I thought the pitch was good so I thought of batting first but I had forgotten and said it wrong at the toss. We won the match,' said Rohit in an episode of the 'Who is the Boss' show on YouTube.
