2025 RAM Heavy Duty is revealed! What changed? Let's talk!

The New 2025 RAM heavy duty 2500 and 3500 has been revealed. As with the half-ton trucks, the Ram HD's new face retains the same rugged handsomeness but adopts a slicker, more modern appearance. The bulky headlights of the outgoing truck have been split into two thinner elements, which are incorporated into the grille. On the off-road-oriented Rebel (pictured at the top), the grille is blacked out to create a mask-like front end and features a series of vertical and horizontal strakes. The lower bumper design of the Rebel appears to carry over unchanged. At the rear, the taillights have a simpler look with C-shaped LED units, but there are no other noticeable differences.

Ram isn't spilling the beans on any technical aspects of the new HD models, but a full reveal will come later. While it's possible that some versions of the Ram HD will be fitted with the gas-powered twin-turbo inline-six found in the light-duty trucks, be surprised to see the 6.4-liter V-8 stick around in the heavy-duty application. The Cummins diesel 6.7-liter inline-six will also carry over into the new HD models.
