Want to send disappearing photos and videos on Instagram? This guide will show you how to use Instagram’s "View Once" feature, which allows you to send temporary media that disappears after being viewed. You can also enable "Vanish Mode" for disappearing messages. Follow these steps to get started.

First, make sure your Instagram app is updated to the latest version. Open the app and log into your account. Once logged in, tap the Direct Messages (DM) icon at the top right corner of the home screen. Select the contact you want to send the disappearing photo or video to.

Inside the chat, tap the camera icon in the text bar. Take a new photo or record a video. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see an option that says "Allow Replay." Tap on it until it changes to "View Once." Once selected, tap "Send." The recipient will only be able to view the media once before it disappears.
