How to solve 2 different problem cases associated with Blend Modes in Adobe Photoshop.

Problem Case #1 : Some of blend modes are greyed out.

Solution : It is because of color mode of the document. You must change it to RGB or CMYK, instead of LAB Color mode.

Problem Case # 2 : All blend modes are not working.

Solution : It is because of a bug in adobe photoshop cc 2019, and in order to solve it, you need to change preference settings of tab "performance". There you will have to check the box that enables previous compositing engine. Once done, restart the photoshop, and you will be good to go.
