San Diego Comic Con 2023 had 150,000 attendees even without the presence of the WGA and SAG.


BigfPictures had “The Candyman’s Gold” documentary as an “Official Selection” at this years International Film Festival.

Directed by Comic-Con Award-Winning Director Frank Zarrillo (2017 Best Documentary The Wrestler: A QT Marshall Story) , this sweet documentary features David Klein (aka “The Candyman”), the inventor of the Jelly Beans® jelly bean, and his partner Stephanie. Together, they orchestrate a nationwide epic treasure hunt leading to one of his candy factories. This exciting adventure attracted over 50,000 contestants.

#comiccon #sandiegocomiccon At San Diego Comic-Con 2023, Hulu's "Animayhem" was a standout attraction! This activation celebrated Hulu's extensive collection of adult animation and anime series. Fans had the chance to immerse themselves in the worlds of their favorite shows like *"Bob's Burgers," "Family Guy," "The Simpsons," "Futurama," "Archer," "American Dad," "The Great North,"* and **"Solar Opposites"**⁷.

The experience featured unique 2D drawing styles and optical illusions to create a 3D effect, making it feel like stepping into the animated worlds. Highlights included:
**"Solar Opposites"**: Fans were "shrunk" and tossed into the Wall.
**"The Great North"**: An interactive experience with a projected Alanis Morissette constellation.
**"American Dad"**: A look into Roger's endless disguises.
**"Family Guy"**: A 360° time travel photo op with Stewie's Time Travel Pad.
**"The Simpsons"**: The iconic living room setup for photos.
**"Bob's Burgers"**: A chance to snap a pic with the Belcher family at their counter⁷.
