Hothfield Heathlands near Ashford is one of the few remaining fragments of open heath in Kent, and contains the county's last four valley bogs. A walk here brings you into the company of an incredible array of wildlife including beetles, birds, rare plants and even grazing animals such as Highland Cows and Konik Horses who keep the vegetation in check! With so much to explore and see, this is a fantastic site to add to your list.
