The Ibanez has had it's stock pick-ups upgraded to a DiMarzio Model "P" split set humbucker in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan SPB-2 Single Coil in the bridge position.

The Jackson has had it's stock pick-ups upgraded to a DiMarzio Model "P" split set humbucker in the neck position and a DiMarzio Model "J" Single Coil in the bridge position.

I'm using custom balanced sets of Stringjoy strings on both basses.

"Thunder-ness" and "bass-end" are not real terms so please don't quote me on them, also reminder to myself (perhaps next time a comb or brush through my hair may be in order prior to hitting the record button) LOL!

I hope somebody gets something out of this, for myself it would be just to subjective with too many variables to use as a true comparison if I were the viewer seeking a sound demo, but that's just me I guess. No judgements here, everyone has their own motives and criteria and that's what makes things interesting. Take care and happy jamming folks. :) \M/
