I did the best I could. I love Rick's songs but I never practice the drums. I mostly play guitar and sing. Rick really wanted to make a record so I wanted him to have a really good drummer, not me. We scheduled in advance but the drummer got sick real bad. Rick had been looking forward to the day for so long I didn't want to disapoint him. I had been promising him I would help him for a year with no action already. I decided I would try to play the drums to his songs. I used to be the drummer to a band 8 before, and had have barely practiced since. I have mostly been playing guitar and singing in the band Lug, also from Portland, Maine. We love Rick Marr and his music. He is going by the name Wretched Marbles. This song is off the record we recorded that day called Straight Jacket Portraits. This is the song with no EQ, just Rick's vocal mic, and Rick's guitar amp mic.
