ICC Germany organized a series of workshops on "The Future of International Supply Chains - Sustainable, Digital, Smart" between June and October 2021 together with their partners from Deutsche Post DHL, KPMG, ODDO BHF, BuyCo, BDI, DIHK and DVV Media Group and a number of ICC National Committees.

How do trade conflicts and eventually the COVID-19 pandemic affect supply chains, how can they be made more resilient? How do companies address the issue of corporate supply chain responsibility, which initiatives and measures do they take to protect human rights? Digitalization opens up new business areas in supply chain financing and beyond. Can digitalization also contribute to conserving our resources and protecting our climate? And last but not least: what are the latest trends of the "supply chains of tomorrow"?

About the Workshop on Supply Chain Due Diligence:

Globally, there is growing momentum towards extending corporate liability for human rights violations to businesses and their supply chains. Several countries have already passed or are considering legislation that would require companies to conduct human rights due diligence. Learn in this workshop from international policy experts more about the recent legal developments in supply chain due diligence and gain insights into how companies are dealing with them, hear from business representatives about their experiences and their initiatives to protect human rights!
