NMS - Conjoining Rooms (Base Building Tactic)

Quick Base Building Demo showing how to conjoin structure rooms for a functional base without structure tubes for connecting the structures. Video begins demonstrating that I do not have base building restrictions disabled.

You either need to build off of existing structure tubes (if you have any) or you need to build temporary pieces beyond that of where you want to place the structure room; this temporary piece acts as the anchor to place the structure room (each structure room, cylindrical or square, is 3x3 cubes). Finally, to connect the rooms, you need to use TWO holo-doors, one on each structure. This will create a path between the structures so you can pass between them without the need of structure tubes to connect them.

This method also works with cuboid rooms, though you still need to use temporary pieces or build off of existing ones.
