The Rivers of East England – Sailing from the Netherlands

Описание к видео The Rivers of East England – Sailing from the Netherlands

In September 2023, we sailed our Hutting 40 «Coelacanth» from the West Frisian island Texel in the Netherlands to England's East coast. After a night in Lowestoft, we sailed southwards along the coast and into the River Blyth. Southwold is a picturesque town and has a pub directly at the landing dock, a lighthouse, a 15th century church, and – a brewery. You can buy fresh lobster caught by the local fisher boats.
Then we continued to the Rivers Stour and Orwell with the historic Butt & Oysters pub at Pin Mill. After a few nights at Shotley and Woolverstone, we sailed back across the North Sea towards the Frisian islands.
