Discover How to Create an Abstract Portrait with Stencils! 🎨

Welcome to my new painting demo video! 🎥 Today, I’m taking you behind the scenes of the creation of my latest artwork, "Aura Animae," a piece created on a 70x100 cm canvas using acrylic paint and spray paint.

Materials Used 🖌️

Paint: Acrylic paint and spray paint.
Canvas: 70x100 cm.

Details of the Artwork 🖼️

This painting represents a partial and abstract portrait of a female face. The facial features, created with a stencil designed by myself, are defined by black brush strokes.

Splashes and spots of vibrant colors such as yellow, blue, red, and orange cover most of the canvas. These colors seem to almost burst out of the frame, adding a sense of movement and energy.

The woman’s gaze, captured with particular intensity, immediately draws the viewer's eye. Her bright red lips strongly contrast with the other colors, adding a dramatic touch to the piece. The hair is suggested by black strokes intertwined with color splashes, creating an effect of dynamism and spontaneity.

Creation Process 🎨

I used a palette knife to apply the paint, which adds a rich texture and a tactile dimension to the surface of the painting. The style evokes a street art technique, mixed with influences from abstract art, highlighting a strong personal expression.
