VINTAGE National Pana Cycle Box Fan Vs NEW KMart ANKO Box Fan FOR THE FANBOYS

A Box Fan comparison between a classic National Pana Cycle fan that's made in Japan Vs a cheap new KMart ANKO fan that's made in China. Both these Box Fans have moving louvers, are 30cm / 12 inch is size and both have 3 speeds. But as I start to investigate the designs of these fans I uncover a few interesting facts about power output and fan blade design.

I did look at a lot of info about the Vintage Pana Cycle fan but it was difficult to pinpoint a exact era for the fan. To me it's shouting in style as something from the 70's. I did see similar Pana Cycle fans with timers said to be early 80's but info on the one I found is difficult to find.

As a total distraction I do get into removing the yellowing plastic that happens of old plastic electrical goods and toys. Anyway I just hope the electric fan collectors and fanboys who love fans appreciate a dedicated video looking into the deep bunny hole of domestic fans. These fans are very common to see thrown out as curbside rubbish and all too often it's the cheap n nasty made in China fans that are thrown out within a few years of purchase.
