Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD (Switch) | Pixel Pursuit

This is a review of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD, the new game in the long running franchise that is a remaster of the original Banana Blitz released on the Wii in 2006. The HD version is available on Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One and is scheduled to release on PC in the future too.

While this updated port includes features that in theory would make it superior to the original version such as getting rid of motion controls, is it worth playing over the original games in the series?
