Freddie Hubbard Interview

In 1979, when I was a 22-year-old college student at Chico State, I had the opportunity to interview legendary jazz trumpeter Freddie Hubbard for the student radio station, KCHO. My colleague John Teasley and I were met by Freddie at the sound check, who then then drove us (at high speed with an open beer) to his hotel where we spent about 20 minutes interviewing him. He was a very gracious interviewee to a couple of awestruck college kids. This interview was on a cassette tape for the last 40+ years. Several professional musicians who I have told about this suggested I digitize the interview and post on YouTube. Here it is!
