READ 'DESCRIPTION' BELOW! R36S ArkOS update - Step-by-step tutorial - Real time - Performance boost

8/2024 update:

IMPORTANT: This tutorial is for the original R36S models only. Newer R36S consoles require the additional steps below - failure to do these will end in a black screen.

Using an incompatible SD card in TF2 will also result in a black screen. If in doubt, use Samsung. Otherwise see the 'R3XS Compatibility List' here: https://ko-fi.com/Post/R3XS-Comprehen... to see if your SD card is supported.

ADDITIONAL STEPS:
Apparently the new R36S consoles need you to replace the "boot.ini" and the dtb file in the BOOT partition with the "boot.ini" file and one of the dtb files (try each til one works) from the PANEL 4 files found here:

If that doesn't work, try PANEL 3 files, and if that doesn't work try PANEL 2 files, and if that doesn't work try PANEL 1 files.

STILL NO LUCK?:
Try re-inserting your original DTB file.
