Piano, synth, guitar and vocal cover of Skye Boat Song, a music from the TV show Outlander, by Christine and Arsinaë 🧙‍♀️

I'm so excited to introduce you our new musical collaboration with my friend Christine, after our covers of Brigmore Lullaby (Dishonored) and This Wandering Day (Rings of Power) 🌟

The music of Outlander is powerful. "Skye Boat Song" is a late 19th-century Scottish song adaptation of a Gaelic song composed by William Ross, entitled Cuachag nan Craobh ("Cuckoo of the Tree"). In Outlander, it's composed by Bear McCreary, and this song is performed by Raya Yarbrough.

We chose to play the Skye Boat Song on guitar, synth, piano and vocals, with lots of backing vocals.

On a trouvé la musique d'Outlander très belle et puissante. A l'origine, "Skye Boat Song" est une adaptation écossaise de la fin du XIXe siècle d'une chanson gaélique composée par William Ross, intitulée "Cuachag nan Craobh" ("Coucou de l'arbre"). Dans Outlander, elle est composée par Bear McCreary et interprétée par Raya Yarbrough.

Nous avons choisi de jouer cette chanson à la guitare, au synthé, au piano et au chant, avec beaucoup de chœurs 😊
