Moving to an old abandoned Irish Cottage on Halloween - Vacant Grant Inspection Day - Ep. 86

Morrigan's Cottage is a 200 year old traditional stone cottage set in the west of Ireland on just under 4 acres. Originally this house would have been used by the local farmers, rented from their British landlords. Dated back to at least the early 1800s, someone has been consistently living here and farming this land since then, up until about 4 years ago when the house was left vacant by the previous owners.

Join me as I take on the challenge of cleaning up and restoring this old, abandoned cottage homestead all on my own! As a single woman, I'm turning this overgrown land and neglected cottage into a cozy, livable space. Watch me tackle everything from clearing brush and restoring the garden to cleaning the interior and breathing new life into this forgotten property.

It's FINALLY here. The vacant property grant inspection day has come. And thankfully we have been preapproved for 50k to help renovate this old home. It also means we can finally move in - even temporarily.
