This is Part 2 of the Flexible Ramp Generator using a 555 timer IC and a dual op amp LM358, this is a fully analog circuit so no microcontroller.

I finally got the circuit working!

If you want to know what I had to change to make it work, watch the video I'll explain what I did wrong and I show on the scope what I can do with the flexible ramp generator.

With the components that I'm using now I have a frequency range from about 800Hz up to about 15KHz, and to my surprise the signal is pretty clean over the whole range, the only limitation of this circuit is that the higher I go in frequency the more the signal looks like a triangle wave instead of a ramp.

I can turn down the amplitude of the signal somewhat and make it look a bit more like a ramp again but of course it has its limitations.

Also the DC offset voltage can be set to a maximum of -10V to +10V without clipping the signal, if I go past those voltages it just clips off the signal at the highest and lowest voltage levels which is the -10V and +10V.
