Imagine your body as an automobile: if I fill the tank of my car with cheap petrol, it doesn't perform nearly as well as when I fill her up with the premium stuff.

For example, an avocado is like premium benzine for my body. It contains massive amounts of omega 3 acids, which are important for our brains, as well as vitamins E, K, and B, loads of magnesium, and a bunch more good stuff.

This means that when instead of a salami sandwich, I eat avocado on toast, I'm pushing my blood values in a positive direction, towards better health and performance, not just physically but mentally as well.

Essentially, this means: more avocado, salmon and walnuts give you better blood values, and better blood values mean more brain power.

The first step is to learn what's in your blood. You have to know where you're starting, in order to reach your optimal state. We've all paid half attention to the doctor when he reads our blood results, maybe just to make sure nothing too terrible is wrong, but he's not telling you which blood values improve your performance. Plus, most doctors work with averages for our totally unhealthy popualtion. You should compare yourself to your peers.

That's why if you want to stay healthy, and ensure peak performance, if you want to take responsibility and control the way your body performs, we recommend measuring your blood values every 1-3 months, and following a diet based on these values. Today this can be done very simply at home: A little prick in the finger, a few drops of blood and that's it.
