1994 Triumph Sprint 900 Service Series - Part Five - Valve Clearance Check & Adjustment

Hello everyone, welcome back to the channel.

In this video I am going to conduct a Valve Clearance check and ultimately an adjustment as I find a few to be out of spec.

This is a pretty straightforward procedure and is far easier than the process required for the VFR VTEC for those of you that have watched that video!

In order carry out a check of the clearances on this machine, you will need a few tools.

Firstly, a set of feeler gauges are a must, you can't check the clearances on this or any other bike without a set! The ones that I have are available at the link below.

You will also require a new gasket for the valve cover, trying to reuse the old one is an exercise in futility in my opinion and a false economy.

Finally, you will also need the gasket for the right hand side engine case.
