Story: Tormented by his obsession to protect Chip, Retep awakens within the Hive Mind. Es, impatient with his resurrection, confronts Retep playfully. Retep attempts to reason with Es, but Es then summons members of the Hive Mind, surrounding Retep, who is ultimately stabbed to death by Es.

Meanwhile, in the ruins after "The Last Stand," Stewie cries as he reminisces about his past with Brian. Chip, wandering in the void, finds him and tries to comfort him. At that moment, Retep—kicked out of the Hive Mind by Es—descends from the sky, and "Peters" emerge from his body, fusing with him to become Repeter (The Repeater). Upon seeing the monster before him, Chip once again succumbs to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD); in a previous loop, this very monster had nearly killed him. Repeter tries to attack Chip, but Stewie stands firmly in front of him to protect him. Stewie continuously fires energy blasts at the Repeter fusion, eventually expending massive amounts of power to create a light wheel and destroy it. However, the Hive Mind suddenly appears, and the infected from the evil storyline surround them. Retep also regenerates through his extraordinary healing abilities. Chip and Stewie are forced to hastily confront the enormous creatures before them. Just as the Hive Mind playfully pulls out Brian's body,
Stewie collapses to the ground in terror, and Chip watches in panic. In the midst of the confrontation, Chip snaps.
He has had enough of this fear-filled life and resolves to fight against his own fears, breaking down. Meanwhile, Stewie loses his sanity, and his powers undergo a drastic evolution; the monsters surrounding Chip and Stewie are blown away by the shockwave of Stewie's immense energy. Stewie expends tremendous strength to attack the infected. Repeter and the Hive Mind fall into the void, while Stewie teleports Chip to a floating island. Stewie collapses weakly to the ground, and Chip comforts him once more. Stewie regains his composure, and the story ends.
