The North Carolina Highway Patrol is hoping to find some new troopers at a recruitment fair this weekend.

Evan Donovan spoke with Master Trooper Jason Metcalf in Henderson County this morning, to find out what it takes.

Trooper Metcalf says they're looking to hire between 80 to 90 people. Some of the requirements include being at least 21 years of age, but not over 39 years old. You must also be a resident of North Carolina, and you must have a high school diploma or GED.

The recruitment fair is April 26th and May 3rd at Reynolds Fire Department on Charlotte Highway. Stop-in between 9 a.m. and noon.
