Unbox and Review the Commercial Electric SFC1-500B 20" High Velocity Fan sold at the The Home Depot. This same fan is sold under numerous different store brands such as Mainstays (Wal-Mart). It's all the same fan.

At the time of this taping, the unit retails for $49 and change, which doesn't go very far anymore. In summary, I was quite impressed for the price. This is a very good value: it's quite powerful, it's easy to assemble, it's light-weight, and the motor seems to be of good quality build. On the downfall, it's loud, and I question how long it will hold up due to lack of adequate lubrication in the bearings.

I do have another video showing how to lubricate the bearings, which will likely dramatically extend the life of the fan. Yes, the fan in the video is under different branding -- it's the same product and the process is identical. This video has gained a lot of views over the years, which is usually a good indicator that a lot of people are experiencing the same issue with the fan that I suggested would exist.
