It is brought to you by Nerd Girls, a community celebrating young women in STEM by giving them a platform to share their stories. Our mission is to encourage and inspire girls to change the world around them by pursuing careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

Nerd Girl Nation is hosted by Dr. Karen Panetta and Craig “Lowie” Low.

Dr. Karen Panetta is a computer engineer, inventor and the Dean for Graduate Education at Tufts University. She has won a number of awards for social impact, teaching and mentoring, ethics, and engineering education, including the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Math and Engineering Mentoring. Karen is also the editor-in-chief of IEEE Women in Engineering magazine.

Craig “Lowie” Low is an award winning Australian comedian, TV host, radio host and writer. Lowie has hosted some of Australia’s biggest TV shows and has also appeared on channels such as MTV, Fox, Nickelodeon, and The Comedy Channel. He has won numerous awards for his nationally syndicated radio shows: Lowie’s Hot 30 Countdown, Lowie’s Super Awesome Mega Mega Show and Lowie vs. America.
