Toji Zenin/Fushiguro has been a fan favourite character for a long time. "The Toji physique" being aspiring to many including myself. But whilst I share the desire to look like him, Toji lived a life we don't want for ourselves.

From his first introduction where we see him betting on races, to his plan to take down Gojo with the inverted spear of heaven, Toji has an exceptionally interesting entry to the story - not just due to his name, but also due to him uniquely having no cursed energy, something only Maki shares.

After dispatching both Gojo and Geto, it should have been enough for him to move on. But his motivation went far beyond that, he had a bottomless need for revenge, which eventually got him killed to "The Honoured One"'s hollow purple.

He returned to life, as "The one who left it all behind, and his overwhelming intensity", fighting Dagon and then Megumi. But he lived a life full of regrets. Of wishing he hadn't lived the way he did. He ends his own life before another can be added, but regardless Toji is a deeply tragic character, and one we don't want to aspire to.
