BDO - Succession Valk BA duels #32: vs a skilled Awakening Valk (featuring the reset combo)

Shoutout to Lucidus for the fights, this was a fun matchup against a skilled opponent. Dude pulls off the most insane combo I've ever seen at the start, and has a lot of really clean catches and combos. I noticed that he uses cspear a lot while i'm in my long SA animations to keep the movement speed debuff on me which definitely hurts. I'm able to keep up though, and despite a pretty big gear advantage on my end the fight feels really good.

Bonus: I develop a reset combo at 18:12 using divine slam into JoL 1 and 2, with just counter to confirm the reset into my float combo. Unfortunately all my kd's were on cooldown but the bound on spear was enough to finish my opponent. Definitely a nice addition to the succ arsenal.

Notes on the matchup: besides the obvious disadvantage in movement, I'm realizing that having only one spear really hurts our ability to apply move speed debuffs on the opponent. some succ valks will use spear for cc attempts, but I prefer to save it for combos so I miss out on a really nice debuff skill. and since prime just counter is garbage, i really don't have any other way to apply movespeed debuffs which is huge.
