Here is a fairly simple method to get the unreal water system waves to interact a bit more with a landscape. The second half is just a browse through the two levels I posted with a fair amount of "umm" :]

BTW The BP_Fluidsim cannot use a wave asset reference to drive the foam. It has to be set to a water body that is using a simple Gerstner generator. I definitely could have stressed that part a bit better in the vid!

Tutorial level download. Its using the default water material so uncheck VS mapping in the ocean material instance for the shore lap to work.
