2023 Geely Galaxy L7 in-depth Walkaround

Introducing the Galaxy L7, a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) SUV by Geely, with a strong emphasis on safety and extended cruising range. Geely has prioritized the security of the vehicle by incorporating the Aegis battery safe system, which works in conjunction with the battery management system BMS 3.0, providing eight layers of protection for enhanced battery safety. The L7 is a compact SUV, comparable in size to the BYD Song Plus or Honda CR-V, measuring 4700mm x 1905mm x 1685mm, with a wheelbase of 2785mm.

With a top speed of 200km/h and an impressive acceleration of 0-100km/h in just 6.9 seconds, the Galaxy L7 surpasses its peers in terms of performance. According to Jerry Gan, the L7 exhibits 20% better acceleration compared to other PHEVs in its class. Its WLTC consumption stands at 5.2 liters per 100 km, and under CLTC conditions, the Galaxy L7 can travel up to 1370 km on a full tank and full charge. Equipped with a 3-speed DHT electric gearbox, the L7 offers smooth and efficient gear shifting.

The interior of the Galaxy L7 is designed to impress, featuring advanced technology elements. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and a new Galaxy N-OS operating system, the vehicle offers improved application speed, voice command functionality, and faster wake-up response times. The cabin boasts four large displays, including a 10.25" instrument panel, a 13.2" central control screen, a 16.2" co-pilot screen, and a 25.6" Head-Up Display (HUD) screen, ensuring a highly immersive and user-friendly experience for occupants.
