Wheel Math Wheel Fun app by MisterNumbers Pattern Play Math is a way for kids to play with fun patterns while they learn their times tables. Multiplication is easy to play on a wheel and learn the basic patterns that amaze kids and adults alike. Big fun. Pick a number at the bottom which sets up which times tables you start with. If you pick Fours on the bottom, then look at the wheel. Numbers (and you) start at 0. Go around 4 and touch 4 on the wheel, a line appears. go around 4 more and you are at 8, so touch 8 and a second line appears. Go around 4 more and you pass 0 and are at 2. Of course 8+4=12, so the 2 is the Ones and going around the wheel gives you 10. Go around 4 more from 2 and you are at 6 (16). And 4 more take you to 0, or 2 times around the wheel, or 20, and YOU MADE A STAR! And you will make another star as you go around the Number Wheel again. Playing with patterns is a game and learning math and times tables happens as kids play!
