On Sunday, 1/22/2023, my mother and I decided to take a little trip on the MBTA Green Line D Branch for a change of scenery. We did this in anticipation of seeing the new Green Line Extension project that the T has worked on for the last few years. We rode the D Branch from its southwestern terminus at Riverside in Newton to its northeastern terminus of Union Square in Somerville and back. I decided to film some of the new sights and scenes along with some other scenes along the ride and overall, it was a great experience and it was also my first time riding any public transit rail since the start of COVID-19 so it was great to be back on a train!
