Will This Catfish Bait Work on Santee Cooper

Does using chicken for catfish bait work on Santee Cooper? The Santee Cooper lakes are known for giant catfish. Anyone that has ever been fishing for catfish has probably heard of Santee Cooper and the world record catfish that have come from the lakes. Lake Moultrie and Lake Marion are the two lakes that make up what people call Santee Cooper in South Carolina. On this trip I am trying out what I consider to be one of the best catfish baits around, chicken breast.
