France's Greatest Grand Prix Car - 1927 Delage 15 S8 - Assetto Corsa

A car so fast its opponents gave up. At the hands of Robert Benoist the Delage 15 S8 won every European round of the 1927 Grand Prix season. Its supercharged i8 fitted with a nickle chromium crankshaft was able to reliably rev to 8,000 RPM and output over 170 horsepower. It appeared Delage was set for ongoing success, but they left as soon as they arrived, Louis Delage ending the whole program after winning the title. The 15S8's were sold to privateers and continued to win races 15+ years later.

The 15S8 has been released for Assetto Corsa by user "Fourty-Too!" at RaceDepartment and it is quite a treat. So lets relive history and see just how remarkable this beauty was!
