My garden is full of peonies, and they are in magnificent bloom right now, so I thought I'd better show case the Prized Peony bundle from Stampin' Up! The peony stamps are very detailed and beautiful. I had never done this before, and have never seen anyone else do it, mind you I don't look at a lot of other demonstrators just because I don't want to be accused of copying, at any rate I put versa mark on the stamp and then direct colored onto the stamp before stamping it, then embossed it with clear embossing powder and it worked!! I had left over In Good Taste dsp from the previous card I demonstrated, so I think it worked well with the card. I love the scalloped edging die! Not sure if I like the navy or white background from the Ornate Borders for the sentiment. My colors were night of navy, melon mambo, and granny apple green.
