Make & Setup a Discord Verification System

Описание к видео Make & Setup a Discord Verification System

This video will show you how to make and setup a Discord verification system in your server. A verification system helps keep bot and spam accounts out of your server. This is done by requiring all new Discord server members to complete a verification process.

There are a few methods to setup a Discord verification system. One of the more common methods is a verification role. With a verification role new members will have to click a reaction under a message. Once they have added the reaction, they will receive a selected role which grants access to the server. Before reacting to the message members will only have limited access to the server. Typically, an unverified member will only have access to information channels. This prevents bots and spam accounts from causing issues in your Discord server.

Another method to add a verification system to your server is through Discord itself. By making your server a community you get access to a verification screen which appears for all new members when they join your server. You can pair the Discord verification system with a reaction role to better protect your server.

Using the Discord community features you can inform new users how to verify themselves in your server. This makes it easier for people to understand what is needed of them when they first join. Ideally, you will want the verification process to be explained as simple as possible.
