In his season debut, Kansas City Mavericks tough guy Daniel "Diamond Hands" Amesbury dropped the gloves with fellow heavyweight pugilist Yanick Turcotte of the Fort Wayne Komets. The two went toe-to-toe in a lengthy bout that saw each combatant land some heavy blows. This may be one of the best ECHL scraps in years.
