The Mastodon Loop Trail extends 2.5 miles from the Cottonwood Campground at Joshua Tree National Park, past several oasis including the massive trees at Cottonwood Spring, up to the top of Mastodon Peak, by Mastodon Mine, and through sandy washes, canyons and interesting boulder formations.

I often let the camera roll during travel to hopefully capture views I'd otherwise miss for my GPS produced episodes.
