2 C. sugar
2 t. cream of tartar
1 3/4 C. water
zest of 1 lemon
2 T. lemon juice

36 Ritz Crackers
2 T. butter, cut into tiny pieces

CRUST
1 C. butter, cold & cut into cubes
2 1/2 C. flour
1 t. salt
1 T. sugar
1/4 C. ice water
